Garmin is the main source of facts for the coach: without it, the plan is built only from your words; with it, it's built from heart rate, sleep, and actual volume.

How to connect

  1. Log in to your dashboard at 1trainer.ru and open the account menu — the avatar in the top right corner, the "Integrations" item (direct link — 1trainer.ru/sport#/profile/integrations).
  2. Enter your Garmin Connect account login and password in the connection form.
  3. Click "Connect" and wait for a response — usually a few seconds.

The password is entered only in the secure dashboard form and is stored in the database in encrypted form. You don't need to send it to the coach in chat — the bot doesn't accept or request such data.

Two-factor authentication

If two-factor verification is enabled on your Garmin account, connection happens in two steps. After entering your login and password, the form will ask for a code: Garmin sends it to your email or authenticator app.

  1. Enter the six-digit code in the field that appears and confirm.
  2. If the code doesn't work or has expired, request a new one and try again — the service directly reports "Invalid or expired code".
  3. After successful entry, the connection is completed and the import of the last 30 days starts immediately.

The code doesn't last long, so enter it right away. If the email from Garmin hasn't arrived, check your Spam folder and repeat the connection from the beginning.

What syncs

On first connection, 30 days of history are pulled in — the coach immediately has something to work with.

How often data is updated

The service fetches data regularly in the background, but it only appears in the source after the watch has synced with the Garmin Connect app on your phone. So the morning ritual is simple: open Connect, wait for the sync — and the coach sees your sleep and readiness for the night.

Daily summaries (sleep, Body Battery, readiness) arrive with a delay. If you check the numbers before the morning sync, you'll see yesterday's.

If there is no data

  1. Sync your watch with the Garmin Connect app.
  2. Message the coach in chat: “update data from the watch” or “recheck Garmin.” The coach has a separate tool that forcibly re-requests daily metrics for today and yesterday and responds based on the fresh numbers.
  3. If it's still empty after that, check in your dashboard that the integration is active: if you changed your Garmin password, you need to reconnect.

Other sources

Besides Garmin, the service accepts body composition measurements from Apple Health (smart scales that send data to Health — the import is set up with a shortcut on iPhone) and photos of the scale display sent directly to chat: the coach recognizes weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass and logs them in the diary.
