MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting an AI assistant to external data. 1trAIner works as an MCP server: your ChatGPT, Claude, or an agent in Yandex AI Studio can see your data and write certain things. Server address: https://1trainer.ru/mcp.

Your usual AI already knows about your work, nutrition, and schedule — now it also sees your workouts. You can review data in any style and any language, build your own tables and charts. The 1trAIner AI coach still manages the plan.

What the AI sees and can write

The AI can log weight, how you feel (a score from 1 to 10 and a note), and a manual workout (name, duration, RPE, and a note). This is convenient to dictate by voice in the ChatGPT or Claude app.

Strava data is not shared under Strava's terms. Passwords and payment data are never shared.

Security, consent, and disconnecting

Access appears only after you log in to 1trAIner and give separate consent to share data, including health data, with the chosen AI. Third-party AI processes it under its own rules, possibly outside Russia. For details, see the privacy policy, section “Connecting your own AI assistant.”

To revoke access, open "Profile → Integrations → Your AI" (in the account menu this screen is called "Connections") and tap "Disconnect" next to the connection you need. Access stops immediately.

Data is available through AI while your 1trAIner subscription or free trial is active. Without a subscription, the AI can only find out its status.

Menu item names in ChatGPT, Claude, and Yandex may change.

Claude

A custom connector is available in claude.ai and the Claude app, including on the free plan. On the free plan, you can add one custom connector.

  1. Open "Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector".
  2. Enter the name "1trAIner" and the address https://1trainer.ru/mcp, then click "Connect".
  3. On the 1trAIner page that opens, sign in, check the consent box, and click "Allow".
  4. In the chat, enable the connector in the tools menu.

ChatGPT

A paid ChatGPT plan is required: Plus, Pro, Business, or higher. Connection is done in the web version of chatgpt.com via developer mode.

  1. Open "Settings → Apps and connectors → Advanced settings" and enable developer mode.
  2. Select "Create" (Create connector). Enter the name "1trAIner", the address https://1trainer.ru/mcp, and OAuth authentication.
  3. Check "I trust this app", click "Create", sign in to 1trAIner, and give consent.
  4. In the chat, select the connector via "+" → developer mode.

Alisa and Yandex AI Studio

Regular Alisa in chat and on Station cannot yet connect third-party MCP servers. For advanced users, an agent is available in Yandex AI Studio — in the Yandex Cloud console, with YandexGPT/Alisa models. Usage is billed at Cloud rates.

  1. In your 1trAIner dashboard, open "Connections" → "Your AI" → "Access key for Yandex AI Studio and other agents" and tap "Create key". The "Allow writing (weight, wellbeing, manual workouts)" checkbox is on by default — uncheck it if the AI should only read. The key is shown once and is valid for 365 days; you can have no more than five active keys.
  2. In AI Studio, open Agent Atelier → MCP servers → "Create MCP server" → "External MCP server".
  3. Set a name in Latin letters, for example onetrainer, the URL https://1trainer.ru/mcp, the Streamable HTTP transport, and the "Access token" authorization type. Specify the header Authorization: Bearer <key>: the header name is Authorization, the value is Bearer <key>.
  4. Tap "Connect", choose the tools, tap "Save", and connect the server to your agent.

The catalog roles serverless.mcpGateways.editor and serverless.mcpGateways.anonymousInvoker are required.

What to ask the AI

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Setup is included in the 1trAIner subscription and free trial, with no separate charge. The AI itself has its own plans: Claude offers its connector even on the free plan, ChatGPT requires a paid plan, and Yandex AI Studio is billed according to Cloud rates.

Can the AI see passwords or payment details?

No. Passwords and payment data are never shared with third-party AI. Strava data is also not shared under Strava's terms.

Can I connect several AIs?

Each AI you choose needs a separate consent to data sharing. Third-party services have their own limits: for example, on the free Claude plan one custom connector is available. You can create up to five access keys for agents like Yandex AI Studio.

How do I disconnect?

Open "Connections" → "Your AI" and tap "Disconnect" next to the connection you need. Access stops immediately.

The AI gave nonsense / strange advice — what should I do?

Responses from third-party AI are its responsibility and are not medical advice. Your plan is still managed by the 1trAIner AI coach.
