COROS watches help the coach take completed workouts, sleep, and recovery into account when building your plan. Connection goes through the official COROS service via OAuth: your COROS password is not passed to 1trAIner and is not stored. Data is received only with your permission.

How to connect

  1. In your dashboard, open the Connections screen, find the COROS tile, and select "Sign in with COROS". Sign in to your account on the official COROS page.
  2. Complete the "Allow access in COROS" step: confirm permission to share data, then return to the dashboard and check that the status shows "Connected".
  3. If you want to receive workouts from your plan in the COROS calendar, turn on the "Send plan to watch" toggle. It is off by default: connecting alone does not allow writing the plan to the watch.

Until COROS connection is open to everyone, the tile shows "Coming soon". Access is granted by invitation.

Before connecting, read the consent text: it lists the data received and explains that brief workout summaries are shared with our AI processing provider acting on our behalf. For details on data use, see the privacy policy.

What syncs

Data is pulled by a background poll about every 6 hours. First, the watch must sync with the COROS app: while the data remains only on the watch, the service cannot see it. Uploading full workout files is limited by COROS — no more than 40 files per day per account.

Wherever COROS data is shown, there is a "Data: COROS" label. It indicates the source so it is clear where the metrics and workouts came from.

Plan on the watch

Only after you explicitly enable "Send plan to watch" does the daily plan appear in the COROS calendar as a structured workout: warm-up, intervals, cool-down, and heart rate or pace targets. Only running, cycling, and trail running are sent. Plans for other sports, including swimming and strength training, are not sent to the watch.

If you change the daily plan, the workout in the COROS calendar will update. However, you can only delete or reschedule it in the COROS app. Check the calendar there if you want to change the date of a workout that has already been sent.

How to disconnect

In your dashboard, on the "Connections" screen, open the COROS status and tap "Disconnect". The service revokes access from COROS and deletes the tokens, after which no new data is received. If the access revocation is not confirmed, the dashboard will ask you to revoke access in the COROS app — follow this prompt to complete the disconnection. Already uploaded data remains in the log until the account is deleted.

If there is no data

  1. Sync your watch with the COROS app and make sure the workout appears in the COROS app.
  2. Wait up to 6 hours: the service receives data via background polling, so it does not appear immediately after syncing the watch.
  3. Check the COROS tile in your dashboard: it should show "Connected". If the status is "Need to reconnect", log in again via COROS and allow access.
  4. If the plan is not on the watch, check the "Send plan to watch" toggle and the sport in the daily plan: only running, cycling, and trail running are supported.
  5. If the data still does not appear, message the coach in chat: include the workout date, the time of syncing with the COROS app, and the connection status in your dashboard.
