AI coach for swimming
AI coach for swimming is a 1trAIner service where artificial intelligence builds and guides a plan of sessions in the water. It suits amateurs who can already swim and want to structure their preparation. The service sends a daily plan in the morning, reviews uploaded workouts and recalculates the week. The first 7 days are free, then 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, with no auto-renewals.
First 7 days free, no card needed. After that 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, no auto-renewals.
How it works
-
1
Tell it how you swim now, which distance you have chosen and when the pool is available — the AI will build a plan taking into account your level and schedule of sessions.
-
2
Connect Garmin or Apple Watch via the app, or start without a watch — describe the sessions you have done and the pool conditions in the chat.
-
3
Receive a plan in the morning and read the review of uploaded swims — report difficulties and rescheduled sessions in words in the chat to adjust the week.
How it differs from a coach and a regular app
| What we compare | 1trAIner AI coach | Personal coach | Regular app |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual plan | Built around your goal, level, and available days of the week | Tailored to you, depth depends on the coach's experience | A ready-made template, the same for everyone |
| Daily adjustments based on your watch | Every day based on sleep, resting heart rate, and completed workouts | Usually a call once a week | No: the plan doesn't know how you feel |
| Workout review for every session | Automatically after your activity is uploaded | Selectively, for key workouts | Just numbers with no explanation |
| Availability | Around the clock in chat, replies in seconds | During business hours, by appointment | The app is always available, but it doesn't answer questions |
| Price per month | 450 ₽ (or 4999 ₽ per year), first 7 days free | From 5000 ₽ for online coaching | From free to 1500 ₽ for a subscription |
| Who it suits | For amateurs who need a plan and a review without waiting for an answer | For those who value a real person and in-person work on technique | For those who just need to log workouts |
In swimming, technique and the conditions of working in the pool matter: the AI takes into account your level, pool length and available days, but data review does not replace an in-person assessment of your movements.

Frequently asked questions
Will the service work if I can't swim at all?
For your first sessions in the water you need an in-person instructor who can see what you are doing and organise practice. The AI can guide a training plan, but it does not watch you in the pool and does not replace learning to swim on site.
Can the AI assess my swimming technique?
The service reviews an uploaded workout, but it does not see body position, stroke and breathing in the water. Activity data is not the same as an assessment of technique. To observe your movements and correct them during a session, you need an in-person coach.
Do I need a watch for sessions in the pool?
You can start without a watch and describe the completed session in the chat. Garmin or Apple Watch via the app allow you to upload workouts for review. In messages, it's useful to specify the pool length, the distance completed, and how the session felt.
What should I do if the pool closed and I missed sessions?
Write in the chat how many sessions you missed and when the pool will be available again. The AI will adjust the further plan based on your message. If the entire schedule of visits has changed, specify the new days, not just the nearest available date.
Can I prepare for an open water swim?
Specify the distance, the date of the swim, your open water experience, and whether you can train outside the pool. This information sets the context for the plan. The service does not accompany you at the water: organizing sessions and safety conditions must be arranged separately.
How much does a swimming plan cost?
The first 7 days are free. After that, the service costs 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, with no auto-renewals. The free trial lets you get to know the plan and the chat; you arrange pool visits yourself.
