AI coach for running
AI coach for running is a 1trAIner service where artificial intelligence guides a runner's preparation. It suits beginners and amateurs with a goal at a chosen distance. The service builds a plan from season to day, sends tasks in the morning, reviews uploaded runs and recalculates the week. The first 7 days are free, then 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, with no auto-charges.
First 7 days free, no card needed. After that 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, no auto-renewals.
How it works
-
1
Tell about your running experience, chosen distance and available days — the AI will build a training plan based on your goal and current level.
-
2
Connect Garmin or Apple Watch via the app, or start without a watch — describe your runs in the chat if device data is unavailable.
-
3
Receive your plan in the morning, upload completed runs and read the review — report missed sessions or schedule changes in words in the chat to adjust the week.
How it differs from a coach and a regular app
| What we compare | 1trAIner AI coach | Personal coach | Regular app |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual plan | Built around your goal, level, and available days of the week | Tailored to you, depth depends on the coach's experience | A ready-made template, the same for everyone |
| Daily adjustments based on your watch | Every day based on sleep, resting heart rate, and completed workouts | Usually a call once a week | No: the plan doesn't know how you feel |
| Workout review for every session | Automatically after your activity is uploaded | Selectively, for key workouts | Just numbers with no explanation |
| Availability | Around the clock in chat, replies in seconds | During business hours, by appointment | The app is always available, but it doesn't answer questions |
| Price per month | 450 ₽ (or 4999 ₽ per year), first 7 days free | From 5000 ₽ for online coaching | From free to 1500 ₽ for a subscription |
| Who it suits | For amateurs who need a plan and a review without waiting for an answer | For those who value a real person and in-person work on technique | For those who just need to log workouts |
In running preparation, weekly volume and heart rate zones matter: the AI takes into account completed runs, watch data and your messages when adjusting the plan for the chosen distance.

Frequently asked questions
Will the plan work if I don't run regularly yet?
Tell how often you move now, whether you have any running experience and how many days you're ready to dedicate. The AI builds a plan for your starting level and goal. You can discuss your first distance and schedule in the chat before starting.
Do I have to run with a watch?
You can start without a device: describe completed runs and how you feel in the chat. To upload workouts, you can connect Garmin or Apple Watch via the app. A review comes after each uploaded activity, then the week is recalculated.
What should I do if I had to miss several runs?
Let us know in the chat which workouts you missed and which days are now available. The AI will adjust the plan, so it's better to discuss rescheduling rather than stacking several workouts into one day. You can send your message as text or voice.
Can I prepare for a specific race?
Specify the distance, race date, your current experience, and your target time if you have one. This information sets your goal. The plan is built from season to month, week, and day; after you upload your runs, the week is recalculated.
Does the AI replace an in-person running technique coach?
The service manages your plan and reviews your uploaded runs, but it doesn't watch your movements at the track. Data analysis is not the same as an in-person technique assessment. To work on your movement with direct observation, you need a live specialist.
How much does a running plan cost?
You can use the service free for the first 7 days. After that, it costs 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, with no automatic charges. During this time you can get to know the morning plan, the review of your uploaded runs, and the chat.
