Form and fatigue
Not a feeling, but a curve
The first 7 days are free, no card needed. No automatic charges: you renew your subscription manually.
The goal over 12 weeks is to ski more confidently using classic technique and maintain a comfortable, steady rhythm for longer. Training combines endurance, movement coordination, and work on your kick. Ski preparation matters too: if your skis don't grip on a climb, the problem isn't necessarily your fitness.
The 1trAIner coach builds a plan based on your level, available days and the terrain of your ski routes. Data from your Garmin/Apple Watch syncs automatically, and the plan is recalculated after every workout. In the comments to a session you can note slipping, snow conditions and arm fatigue — this helps avoid confusing difficult conditions with a lack of endurance.
First, the focus is on a comfortable rhythm and easy skiing that you can manage well. Time spent skiing then increases gradually, with uphill drills and practice switching between skiing techniques added as readiness allows. Progress means covering a familiar route more steadily, without your effort rising sharply after every climb.
