In the 12-week preparation for Kazbek, the focus is on long walking and maintaining a confident pace as fatigue builds. This requires gradually increasing time on your feet, strength work and practice on accessible terrain. Technical and equipment requirements depend on the route and conditions: these are clarified with a guide, not replaced by endurance training.
In 1trAIner, the AI coach selects sessions for your fitness and schedule, taking into account where you can train: in the city or on cross-country terrain. Data from a Garmin or Apple Watch syncs automatically, and the plan is recalculated after every workout. If by the end of an outing your pace becomes unsteady or marked fatigue appears, it's worth writing to the coach to adjust the load.
The first sessions help you find a feasible walking duration and learn stability exercises. In the middle of the plan, longer work on terrain is added, and before the trip there is time for recovery. Progress means less deterioration in pace and movement control by the end of a familiar outing. Acclimatisation and glacier travel training, if required on the route, are arranged separately with a guide.
What you get during 7 days of free access
- In the free first 7 days, you fill out the questionnaire: trip date, chosen route, experience of mountain outings and available terrain.
- You receive the first week of the plan with walking and strength and stability exercises, without trying to reproduce the load of the climb right away.
- The coach reviews your workouts, clarifies how pace and how you felt changed by the end of an outing, and updates the upcoming sessions.

Workouts from your watch sync automatically, and the review arrives in chat. Missed a session or got sick — the week is rebuilt.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a sports watch?
No. You can start without one: the plan is built from your answers about your goal, level, and available time. With a Garmin or Apple Watch, accuracy is higher — the coach sees your heart rate, sleep, and actual weekly volume.
What happens after the free week?
The subscription costs 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year. There are no automatic charges: your card is not saved, and renewal is only manual via the link in the reminder.
Is the coach a person or a program?
1trAIner is an informational service: plans and reviews are prepared by AI based on your data. This is not a medical service and not a substitute for a doctor or an in-person coach.
What if my goal changes?
Let us know in the chat. Right now the plan is built for the goal “Preparation for climbing Kazbek: 12 weeks of preparation”, but moving a race, an injury, or a vacation is normal: the coach will recalculate the cycle for the new conditions.
