The area on the map isn't yours yet. You run a loop around the park — and the land inside the loop becomes yours. You run through a neighbor's section — you take that too. In the runners' ranking you move up to first place.
The first 7 days are free, no card needed. No automatic charges: you renew your subscription manually.
The 12-week preparation for Markotkh Trail combines hill training with learning to conserve energy on exposed terrain. The distance and elevation gain are confirmed before training begins so the load matches your chosen route. Speed alone cannot make up for heat and wind: controlled effort, hydration and suitable gear all matter.
The 1trAIner coach builds a plan around your experience and schedule, leaving room for recovery after climbs and descents. Data from Garmin or Apple Watch is uploaded automatically, and the plan is recalculated after every workout. Your notes about the weather help distinguish a rise in load caused by conditions from a change in fitness.
Hill work is introduced in controlled amounts, then incorporated into longer sessions where you test your hydration strategy. Progress means sustaining a steady effort and staying in control on descents. Training load is reduced before the race; deliberate workouts in dangerous heat are not used to test readiness.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a sports watch?
No. You can start without one: the plan is based on your goal, level, and available time. With a Garmin or Apple Watch, the plan can be tailored more precisely — the coach can see your heart rate, sleep, and actual weekly training volume.
What happens after the free week?
