The area on the map isn't yours yet. You run a loop around the park — and the land inside the loop becomes yours. You run through a neighbor's section — you take that too. In the runners' ranking you move up to first place.
The first 7 days are free, no card needed. No automatic charges: you renew your subscription manually.
Preparation for Ironstar Sochi over 12 weeks begins with clarifying your participation format and your experience in swimming, cycling and running. It is important not just to train each discipline separately, but to conserve energy when moving from one leg to the next. Open water practice should take place in organised, safe conditions, not alone.
The 1trAIner coach builds an overall plan for your level and schedule, taking into account the pool, access to a bike and running days. Data from Garmin or Apple Watch is uploaded automatically, and the plan is recalculated after every workout. Fatigue after a cycling session is taken into account when scheduling the next run.
First the balance between disciplines is built, then, depending on your readiness, bike-run bricks are added. During long sessions, nutrition and equipment are tested, while open water skills are practised separately. Before the race, overall volume is reduced so that fatigue from one discipline does not ruin the whole race.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a sports watch?
No. You can start without one: the plan is based on your goal, level, and available time. With a Garmin or Apple Watch, the plan can be tailored more precisely — the coach can see your heart rate, sleep, and actual weekly training volume.
