The area on the map isn't yours yet. You run a loop around the park — and the land inside the loop becomes yours. You run through a neighbor's section — you take that too. In the runners' ranking you move up to first place.
The first 7 days are free, no card needed. No automatic charges: you renew your subscription manually.
The 5 km distance at "5 Verst" lets you assess your fitness on a familiar route, but not every run has to be an all-out test. Over 8 weeks, it's more useful to build a regular running habit and learn to pace yourself. For a beginner, the goal may be to complete the distance without stopping; for an experienced runner, it may be to improve their finish time.
The 1trAIner coach builds a plan for your level and schedule, deciding how the Saturday run fits into each week's training. Garmin or Apple Watch transmit data automatically, and the plan is recalculated after every workout. Training load in the days before and after is adjusted depending on whether Saturday is a test effort or an easy run.
First, you build a regular running habit, then add manageable accelerations and sessions focused on steady pacing. Progress is assessed with effort and conditions in mind, not just your finish time. Training load is reduced ahead of your chosen test Saturday so you can assess your fitness without accumulated fatigue.

Do I need a sports watch?
No. You can start without one: the plan is based on your goal, level, and available time. With a Garmin or Apple Watch, the plan can be tailored more precisely — the coach can see your heart rate, sleep, and actual weekly training volume.
