Running, pull-ups, push-ups and core exercises can be combined in preparation for GTO, but this is not a universal mandatory set: the complex has age stages, and the tests and standards differ; exact requirements for your stage are on gto.ru. An example plan is 3–4 sessions per week alternating running and strength work, so that a hard run does not sit next to a full check of all strength exercises by inertia. In the strength part, start, for example, with 3 sets of the chosen exercise with 2–3 minutes of rest, choosing repetitions based on your current maximum, not on an invented standard. For pull-ups, use bands and negative reps as needed, and replace some sets with ladders without adding them on top of the whole load.
The coach in 1trAIner is an AI: it distributes running and strength exercises according to your current results, schedule and the tests of your stage. Data from a Garmin or Apple Watch syncs automatically; you log the number of pull-ups, push-ups and core exercise results in the report. After each workout the plan is recalculated so that growth in running volume is taken into account when assigning the next strength load. First 7 days free; then subscription — 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year, no auto-charges.
In the first to third weeks, find a combination of running and strength work; in the fifth to seventh weeks, increase the load primarily in the lagging disciplines while keeping the others in the plan. The fourth and eighth weeks are easier; in the ninth to eleventh weeks, test individual exercises by their rules rather than doing a full assessment every workout. The twelfth week is unloaded before control attempts; if your stage requires other tests, their preparation is also included in the schedule. The twelve-week period is a guideline without a promise of results: your starting level in each discipline, weight and recovery determine how quickly you can add without skewing toward one part of preparation.
What you get during 7 days of free access
- During the first free 7 days, fill out the questionnaire and check the requirements of your stage on gto.ru, then measure your current maximum in strength exercises and your baseline running result on separate days.
- Start the first week of the plan with 3–4 sessions alternating running, pull-ups, push-ups and core exercises according to your level.
- Log the completed workouts and fatigue between them: the coach will review the balance of running and strength work and adjust the load.
How it works
-
1
You tell us about yourself
Your level, how many days a week you're ready to train, the race date or goal deadline. Five minutes in chat or in the questionnaire.
-
2
You get a plan
The coach builds a cycle up to your goal and gives you the week day by day: what to do, at what pace, and why this particular workout.
-
3
The plan follows you
Workouts from your watch sync automatically, and the review arrives in chat. Missed a session or got sick — the week is rebuilt.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a sports watch?
No. You can start without one: the plan is built from your answers about your goal, level, and available time. With a Garmin or Apple Watch, accuracy is higher — the coach sees your heart rate, sleep, and actual weekly volume.
What happens after the free week?
The subscription costs 450 ₽ per month or 4999 ₽ per year. There are no automatic charges: your card is not saved, and renewal is only manual via the link in the reminder.
Is the coach a person or a program?
1trAIner is an informational service: plans and reviews are prepared by AI based on your data. This is not a medical service and not a substitute for a doctor or an in-person coach.
What if my goal changes?
Let us know in the chat. Right now the plan is built for the goal “Prepare for GTO tests: running, pull-ups, push-ups and core in 12 weeks”, but moving a race, an injury, or a vacation is normal: the coach will recalculate the cycle for the new conditions.
